Rejection is never an easy process to overcome. Every since we were children, we never liked to hear the word “NO”. NO is painful. NO means I can't have what I want. When it comes to the easiest ways to handle rejection whether it's in your business or just life in general. There a few things you'll want to think about and/or consider.
I am going to give you 3 simple, yet effective strategies to help you handle rejection.
Easiest Ways To Handle Rejection
Understand that rejection is going to happen no matter what situation your are in. Everyone is not going to like you, what you do, what you have or just anything attached to you. You know what, that's quite alright. Everyone is not for everyone.
In your mind you want to already have your “rejection” mechanism ready. This is not to say this person and every person will say NO. You will get many people to tell you YES. But you must go through the NO's to get there.
Success comes after failure.
Many people believe it's: Failure (rejection) <== YOU ==> Success. They believe it's this struggle and you're fighting to get away from failure as it pulls you in.
It's really: YOU ==> Failure (rejection) ==> Success. Your success is reached after you've gone through enough rejection.
If you are attempting to speak to a young lady or young man, just know that they may not like you or want to talk to you or you just may not be there type.. You know what, that's quite alright. There are millions of young ladies and men that are just waiting for you to show up.
In business, if you are sharing your opportunity, product or service to your warm market or your the cold market. The easiest way to handle rejection is to know right away they may not be interested. We call this “The Rejection Rocket” (Mark and Renee Yarnell – Your First Year In Network Marketing). The Rejection Rocket is always on a heat seeking mission to shut you down. Getting rejected in business can be very challenging because most times that means your are not getting compensated for your work and time. You give this great presentation on your opportunity, product or service and the person or people state they are not interested in what you have. A situation like that can thwart someones progress.
In any situation where someone rejects you, doesn't mean that you're a failure. It just means that you or what you represent doesn't fit with who they are and what they represent. Yes, you can take the time to find out what they want and like and if you have THAT you can share. But if you don't, that's quite alright.

How Do You Handle Rejection In Sales
Go where you are celebrated, not where you are tolerated. I'm sure you've heard of this phrase before. Since I am involved in business, I'm going to stick to that subject the rest of this blog.
When you are looking to reduce the rejection in your business, how do you hand rejection in sales? Well for starters, talk to people that have an interest in what you do. If you are in insurance sales, find ways to talk to people that may need insurance. If you are in network marketing and you are looking to increase your sales and sign ups. Share the product first and see who may be interested in that product. Share the benefits of the business first and see if those benefits solve a person's “pain”.
We call this process “TARGET MARKETING“. Rejection will still occur, but the rejection will be reduced if you speak to people that have more of an interest in what you do instead of just attempting to speak to everyone.
Share Value First
As I mentioned in the previous section another of the easiest ways to handle rejection is to share the benefits of what you have first. In other words, share value first. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
One of the reasons you are getting rejected in your business is because most people don't TRUST what you do or represent. When it comes to the cold market, people don't KNOW, LIKE or TRUST you. That's why no one will click on your links or give you their number [at the grocery store ] because you haven't share any value as to WHY they should work with you.
When you share VALUE to first, especially free valuable information that addresses a “pain”, you become more attractive to the marketplace. They marketplace will see you a person of value and someone they should follow or connect with. As your value grows, so does your attractiveness. The rejection begins to greatly reduce because now people are looking for and chasing you. How can get rejected by someone that is chasing you? It's very unlikely.
